National Geographic’s much anticipated series ‘Mega Icons’, with its unique format and stellar line up of personalities, has managed to generate a lot of interest from sponsors. Key sponsorships have been closed with New Ford Aspire coming on board as the ‘Presenting Sponsor’, and Haier singing on as the ‘Powered by’ for the series. Absolute Music CDs & Shyam Steel are the other sponsors that have been closed, with a lot of others are expected to be finalized in the next few days.
Mega Icons has become an instant hit with advertisers with not only because of the Icons it features, but also because of the unique format it employs. The show features personalities cricketer Virat Kohli, politician & actor Kamal Haasan, former president of India – APJ Abdul Kalam, spiritual leader & Nobel laureate Dalai Lama, and social activist & India’s first women IPS officer Kiran Bedi. However, the unique proposition of the show is that the show’ host, R. Madhavan, along with a panel of acclaimed scientists and expert psychoanalysts, will be on a quest on to unravel whether these Icons were ‘Born or Made’. They will scratch beneath the surface to magnify milestone instances in the Icons’ lives to question whether these personalities were born to be different, or were moulded into greatness by their life experiences.
With an abundance of style, power and substance similar to people featured in NGC Mega Icons series, our soon to be launched compact sedan – New Ford Aspire – celebrates people who didn’t follow the crowd and went beyond the ordinary,
said Rahul Gautam, Vice President, Marketing, Ford India.
The partnership with NGC Mega Icons, therefore, is a natural extension of inherent values that New Ford Aspire promotes and we are confident that the show will inspire people to carve their niche, just like the new Ford Aspire.
Mega Icons will premiere at 9 pm. You may watch the recent Episode featuring Virat Kohli’s here: https://www.hotstar.com/tv/mega-icons/s-1662/virat-kohli/1770018765 .
