Skoda has revealed today that the new Skoda Superb would be launched globally on February 17th of 2015. We have covered stories connecting to Skoda Superb in the past on various design leaks and rumours:
The February 17 launch can be a huge news for Skoda fans.
This new Skoda Superb model is a great change from the previous generation cars. Skoda Superb comes with a more smoother flowing profile and with a matured luxury car looks. Talking about the bootspace of the car, it is more than 60 litres, and you get a lot of leg room when the seats are folded down.
The new Skoda Superb is expected to have a 2.0 litre diesel engine which has a power around 170bhp or a 1.8 litre 177bhp turbo-petrol engine. The existing automatic DSG gearboxes are likely to be taken forward.
Talking about the design of the car keeping the official design sketch as reference, the new Superb gets Skoda’s new two part, butterfly-shaped grille and larger headlamps with a distinct hollowed out section below them. The nose now looks more aggressive, and the sharp cutlines on the bonnet and fenders, and the tastefully flared wheel arches add to the sporty stance.
Skoda Superb is likely to barrow some of the features which are present in VW. Lot of the latest goodies found on Volkswagen’s new B8 Passat, such as adjustable dampers and a new generation infotainment system.
That’s all.. We hope all our Skoda readers are waiting eagerly for this Superb launch by Skoda on February 17th.
