New Yamaha Tracer 700 Sport-Tourer based on MT-07 revealed

In recent times, the motoring industry is witnessing good growth of tourers in motorcycles. Joining this race, Yamaha has now unveiled a new product – the Tracer 700 Sport-Tourer which is based on the MT-07 naked motorcycle.

Yamaha Tracer 700 Styling and Design:

The all new Yamaha Tracer 700 is essentially based on same frame as that of the MT-07, but there will be certain tweaks which makes it comfortable long distance tourer. The swingarm in the new Yamaha Tracer 700 has been extended by a length of 50mm, which increases the wheelbase to 1450mm as opposed to 1,400mm of the MT-07.

There will be also minor updates in the Suspension system in order to gobble up long distances with less fatigue. The front forks of the motorcycle would be getting a longer travel of 140mm. The fuel tank capacity of the Tracer 700 will be 3 litres more than that of MT-07’s 14 litre tank. With the 17-litre fuel tank, the Tracer 700 becomes ideal motorcycle for touring. The new Yamaha Trace 700 would also be getting twin headlamps and adjustable windscreen with hand guards. These elements gives a very different visual appeal for the motorcycle. The bike will be also getting panniers and rear box as accessories.
