Nissan India has officially announced a postponement for the launch of its highly anticipated 7-seater MPV, the Nissan Gravite. Originally scheduled to debut today, January 21, 2026, the company’s PR team has confirmed that the launch event has been moved, with new dates expected to be released in the coming weeks.

The Nissan Gravite is a crucial product for the brand’s 2026 roadmap, aimed at the affordable 3-row family vehicle segment. Built on the CMF-A+ platform, it is designed to offer a practical and spacious alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Renault Triber. Under the hood, the Gravite is expected to house a 1.0-litre petrol engine, available with both manual and AMT gearbox options.

While Nissan has not specified the reason for the rescheduling, the delay is expected to be brief. This development follows a period of strong momentum for Nissan India, which recently reported record-breaking export figures for December 2025.

As of now, there is no official update regarding any change to the global unveiling of the Nissan Tekton SUV, which remains slated for February 4, 2026.

GaadiKey will continue to monitor the situation closely. We advise our readers to stay tuned for the official announcement regarding the revised launch and price reveal dates for the Nissan Gravite.
