Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has expanded its network in Karnataka with the opening of a new dealership and state-of-the-art service workshop in Mangaluru. This development comes as part of Nissan’s plan to grow its footprint in all key regions across India, making it easier for its customers to access sales and service facilities. With the Mangaluru expansion, the total customer touchpoints in the state of Karnataka increases to 20, illustrating the criticality of the market for Nissan.
The dealership was inaugurated by Mr Saurabh Vatsa, MD, NMIPL who highlighted Nissan’s focus on reaching more customers in high growth markets like Karnataka. The new Pai Sales Nissan Showroom has a total area of 10,950 sq.ft, while the state-of-the-art Pai Sales Nissan Service Workshop at the Mangaluru facility is spread across a total area of over 19,000 sq. ft. The new showroom and service workshop are equipped with high-quality amenities and staffed by knowledgeable, well-trained, and passionate sales and service professionals, ensuring a seamless car-buying and ownership experience for customers. The new touchpoints extend Nissan’s reach in the region and reinforce its commitment to providing exceptional value to customers by offering a one-stop shop for all their automotive requirements.
Commenting on the new dealership, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL), said,

Last month, Nissan inaugurated three additional touchpoints in Bengaluru including two showrooms and one service workshop, further highlighting the importance of Karnataka as a market for Nissan and its growth plans for the region. With this addition, Nissan now operates 20 customer touchpoints across Karnataka, including 11 sales and 09 service workshops. This expansion will help ensure that customers in the region have better access to Nissan’s full range of products and services.
Nissan recently launched its All-New 4th Generation X-TRAIL as a CBU in India. Designed for a refined driving experience, the X-TRAIL features the world’s first production Variable Compression engine, delivering exceptional power and fuel efficiency. The SUV is equipped with the latest 3rd generation XTRONIC CVT, which includes D-Step Logic Control and Paddle Shifters for enhanced acceleration and seamless shifting. Furthermore, the 12V ALiS (Advanced Lithium-ion Battery System) mild hybrid technology significantly improves fuel economy, offering benefits such as torque assist, extended idle stop, quick restart, and reduced CO2 emissions. Nissan also delivered its first X-TRAIL in India to a customer in Bengaluru last month.
