Nissan X-Trail has been named the Best Large SUV of 2023 by the Women’s World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) jury. The WWCOTY award is the only international accolade exclusively made up of female automotive journalists. Nissan’s e-POWER is an innovative drive system that offers an EV-drive feeling without the need to recharge. The X-Trail’s e-POWER system is made up of a high-output battery and powertrain integrated with a variable compression ratio petrol engine, power generator, inverter, and 150kW front electric motor. This unique powertrain means that power to the wheels comes only from an electric motor, resulting in an instant, linear response to the accelerator.
