Okinawa Autotech Private Ltd., India’s fastest growing e-automobile manufacturer, has registered record-breaking sales during this festive season. The leading e-scooter manufacturer has sold 12,000 units of its range – Ridge, Praise, Ridge+ & Ridge30 scooters. With these massive numbers, the brand has exceeded its own expectations for the season by a significantly large margin.

In line with its projections, the brand sold 500 units of its Ridge+ e-scooter in October and planned to sell another 1,500 units in November 2018. On the back of high demand during the Diwali holiday period, however, the brand sold a whopping 12,000 units over the 2 months. A major driver of this massive growth in sales is the adoption of Okinawa scooters by several e-scooter taxi fleets & last mile connectivity services across the country such as Vogo, Fae Bikes, Bikxie and KDM Group. Further, Okinawa’s trusted market reputation, as well as burgeoning demand for convenient and quality detachable batteries in e-vehicles helped amplify the sales.
