Renault Lodgy launched in India at Rs 8.19 Lakhs
Renault has introduced a new car into its SUV segment by launching Renault Lodgy in India today (April 9). Renault Lodgy has been priced at Rs 8.19 Lakhs in India (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is now available across all dealerships in India. The Renault Lodgy was first revealed in December 2014, since then, there are lot of hype and buzz about the car. Renault’s famous Terrano ( under Nissan brand) and Duster are quite well known car brands especially in SUV segment. While the base variant of Renault Lodgy has been priced at 8.19 Lakh rupees, the top-end RxZ trim is priced at 11.79 lakh rupees. Renault Lodgy is a seven-seater Multipurpose vehicle (MPV) and it is going to compete against some established cars like Toyota Innova, Honda Mobilio and Maruti Ertiga.
Highlights of Renault Lodgy
The main highlights of Renault Lodgy is its cavernous cabin and large dimensions. Talking about the dimensions of Renault Lodgy, the car is 4.5-metres long, 1.8-metres wide and 1.7-metres high. Renault Lodgy’s cabin is similar to that of its sibling – Renault Duster, with many features and borrowed from the AWD variant of the SUV.
Renault has also equipped the Lodgy with a raft of features and fitments. The top trim will get a touchscreen infotainment system, satellite navigation, rear view camera, parking sensors and dedicated AC vents for the second and third row. It also gets bottle holders and 12V power sockets for all rows, with folding tray tables for the second row.

Specifictions of Renault Lodgy
Renault Lodgy has same engine as that of Renault Duster. The 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine is available in two states of tune — 84bhp mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and 108.5bhp mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
