River Indie is an electric scooter that comes with a powerful motor, which allows it to reach a top speed of 90 kmph and tackle an 18-degree incline. The rider can choose between three ride modes to customize their riding experience. The scooter has a 4 kWh battery that offers a real-world range of 120 km, and it takes 5 hours to charge it up to 80% using a standard charger. The high contrast colour display makes it easy to see the information, even on a sunny day. Additionally, there are two USB charging ports and a reverse parking assist feature that add to the convenience of riding the scooter.
Indie is available for pre-order on the River website, with deliveries starting from August 2023. The electric scooter is priced at Rs. 1,25,000/- (ex-showroom Bengaluru). Indie is the first electric scooter in India to feature 14-inch wheels, which provide a commanding riding position and great rideability and manoeuvrability on various road conditions. The scooter has the largest storage in any scooter with a 43L under the seat storage and a 12L front glove box. Indie is a unique and practical electric scooter that has a lot to offer for those looking for an environmentally friendly and convenient mode of transportation.
