We just got our hands on the all-new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450! While we are currently putting it through its paces for our comprehensive, in-depth review (coming very soon—stay tuned!), we couldn’t wait to share some quick first impressions alongside a full photo gallery of new Guerrilla 450.
The “Apex” Advantage
We’ve spent some good time with the new Apex variant, and the design is absolutely brilliant. Royal Enfield has introduced some stunning new colors, but the Apex Red as well as the Apex Black are undeniably the crowd favorite right now.

The Guerrilla 450 Apex isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade, either. It rolls on premium imported Vredestein tyres which gives it a much sharper, road-focused grip when compared to the rubber on the standard Guerrilla. The Guerrilla 450 Apex also comes standard with a color-matched pillion seat cowl, allowing you to easily swap the look and give the bike a sporty, single-seater vibe.
Performance & Ride Experience
One of our bike experts, Nikhil Thorvat recently took the new Guerrilla 450 motorcycle out for a long ride, and the consensus is that it rides incredibly well. It borrows the potent 452cc “Sherpa” engine straight from the Himalayan, meaning it has plenty of power and punch on demand.
Interestingly, it’s a tough motorcycle to put into a single box. Is it a pure street roadster? A scrambler? An urban hooligan? It blurs the lines, but one thing is certain: it’s an absolute blast to ride. As for fuel efficiency, the mileage is just “ok ok”—nothing extraordinary, but a fair trade-off for the performance on tap.
A Hilarious Design Quirk
The styling is top-notch, especially in the Apex trim, but I have to point out my favorite quirky detail. If you look closely at the exhaust outlet, it looks exactly like a massive USB Type-C port! Once you see it, you really can’t unsee it.
