The year 2025, which marks Škoda Auto India‘s 25th anniversary in the country, has proven to be its most successful to date. The brand has achieved its highest-ever annual sales volume within the first ten months of the year.
Between January and October 2025, Škoda Auto India sold 61,607 cars, successfully beating its previous annual record of 53,721 cars sold in the full calendar year 2022.

Adding to this historic annual achievement, the brand also recorded its best-ever monthly sales in October 2025, selling 8,252 units.
Product Offensive and Growth Drivers
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, stated that this milestone is a “testament to the strength of purpose, clarity of vision and agility of execution,” and highlights the brand’s successful surge in India.
The record-breaking performance has been largely driven by an effective product offensive and strategic positioning:
- Kylaq Leads: The sales growth is significantly driven by the brand’s first-ever sub-4m SUV, the Kylaq, which has seen sales reach close to 40,000 units since its launch this year.
- Flagship Demand: Steady demand for the Kodiaq, Škoda’s flagship luxury 4×4, continues to contribute to the overall sales.
- Core Models: The Kushaq and Slavia continue to provide sustained sales contributions.
- Performance Models: Customer appetite for high performance was evident as the iconic Octavia RS was reported to have sold out within 20 minutes.
With the Kylaq, Kushaq, and Kodiaq, Škoda now offers an SUV for every aspiration, while maintaining its sedan legacy with the Slavia and the return of the Octavia RS. The company also announced a milestone of selling over 200,000 locally produced cars (Slavia, Kushaq, and Kylaq).

Network Expansion and Customer Focus
The brand’s success is also underpinned by strategic expansion, with its network now reaching 318 Customer Touchpoints across 180 cities. Škoda Auto India is the first market for Škoda Auto globally to complete a 100% rebranding of its entire network with the updated Corporate Identity and Design.
Looking ahead, the brand plans to increase its total sales and aftersales workforce at dealerships by 50% to over 7,500 by the end of 2025, alongside significant investment in training to enhance aftersales quality and customer satisfaction.
