Skoda Auto India has announced a historic achievement in its 25th year of operations in the country. The automaker has crossed the landmark figure of 500,000 (5 lakh) units sold since its entry into the Indian market.
Continuing its aggressive growth trajectory, the brand reported strong sales figures for November 2025. Skoda Auto India sold 5,491 units in the penultimate month of the year, registering a massive 90% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to the same month in 2024.

The year 2025 marks the silver jubilee for Skoda Auto in India, and it has been a year of broken records. The company had already registered its highest-ever sales in the first ten months of 2025.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, attributed this success to the company’s expanding network and product strategy. “Our expanding network, our value-driven ownership offerings, and wide product portfolio have been the chief driving forces that have powered our 5 lakh landmark sales and our constant year-on-year sales growth every month,” said Gupta.

Skoda’s growth is supported by a diverse portfolio ranging from INR 7.5 lakh to INR 45.9 lakh.

The brand continues to maintain a strong sedan legacy in India. A notable highlight of the 25th anniversary was the return of the Octavia RS, which saw every allocated unit sell out within 20 minutes of booking openings. Additionally, the Slavia sedan continues to be a key volume driver with its 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engine options.
SUV Lineup and Safety
Skoda has strengthened its presence in the SUV segment with multiple offerings:
