Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. deeply mourns the loss of Mr. Osamu Suzuki, Senior Advisor, Suzuki Motor Corporation. A visionary leader, Mr. O. Suzuki contributed to shaping the global two-wheeler industry with the launch of iconic motorcycles that set new benchmarks worldwide.

In India, Mr. O. Suzuki’s vision of developing superior quality and reliable products, added joy to daily riding.

Mr. O. Suzuki’s foresight and dedication also drove the adoption of Japanese manufacturing principles in India, emphasizing on Value Packed Products combined with Innovation. He began a new era to Indian motorcycling culture with introduction of Hayabusa and was amongst the early ones to start the trend of 125cc scooters with launch of Access 125.

His guiding principle of ‘Gemba’ driven by checking the real situation followed by analysis led to expansion of network in Indian market. He would be dearly remembered as a leader who would visit factory, showroom and service centres and give advice to improve products and customer experience.

His legacy as a leader and innovator will remain a guiding force for all of us at Suzuki Motorcycle India, the suppliers, dealers and the broader automotive community in India.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and colleagues during this time of sorrow. His passion to develop breakthrough products for the automotive industry with smile on his face will always be cherished.
