Toyota Innova Crysta receives 18,000 Bookings
It is going good for Toyota, as the company has received a very strong response for its recently launched upgraded version of Innova – The Innova Crysta. Talking to press, Mr Akito who is the Managing Director of Toyota Kirlosakar Motor has revealed that Toyota has managed to grab 18,000 bookings since the launch of car which happened on May 3. Because of this huge demand for the car, the car has commanded a waiting period of up to 10 weeks.

So far, out of all the bookings that has been done, Innova Crysta’s top trim ZX has received the most bookings. The top trim ZX version of Innova Crysta is equipped with an automatic transmission gearbox and is priced at INR 20.78 lakhS (ex-showroom price). The base variant of new Innova Crysta is priced at INR 13.84 lakhs. In case if you didn’t know the earlier-generation of Innova did not have an automatic transmission gearbox. The Japanese automaker is currently producing 7,000 units of Crysta per month at its Bidadi plant in Bengaluru. Toyota is also planning to increase the production volume because of this huge demand!

Mr Akito of Toyota, who was present in the opening event of Toyota Driving School, addressing the media elaborated that the focus would be on Toyota’s existing customers and maintain good retention rate making Toyota a very competitive brand in India.
