Toyota Innova Crysta to launch in May 2016 in India
Toyota’s success can be directly attributed to its ever popular model “Innova” after Qualis. Toyota Innova has emerged as an undisputed king of people-mover segment since its launch over a decade ago. Very recently, the last unit of current edition Innova came out of the company’s Bidadi plant near Bangalore.
There has been a humungous amount of demand for the existing Innova model. The popularity of Innova is so much that it is impossible to find Toyota Innova even in the existing pre-owned market. Even if you manage to find an Innova in the existing pre-owned market, the price tag is expected to be super high.
Toyota has finally put an end to the production of current Toyota Innova model and the company is now waiting to clear their existing inventory in order to introduce the new Innova Crysta.
What’s new in the new Toyota Innova Crysta?
In short, the shape of the new Innova Crysta pretty much remains the same. New Innova Crysta retains the existing tubular chassis and it has not been upgraded to hydroformed one, keeping the production costs in mind.
The steering of new Innova Crysta is hydraulic and not electric, again keeping the costs in mind. One prominent change which you can notice is the length of the car that has been increased and even the engine capacity of the car has been reworked. The new Toyota Innova Crysta gets better torque and power options compared to its predecessor resulting in increase in fuel efficiency. The interiors of new Innova Cyrsta have been increased as well inorder to give the car a better feel.
The pricing of new Innova Crysta is going to be crucial for the car’s success.
