Iconic British premium motorcycle brand, Triumph motorcycles has started bookings for its upcoming motorcycle – the new Tiger 900. The adventure motorcycle is one of the most anticipated products from the British marquee this year; Triumph currently leads the premium adventure motorcycle segment in the country with its Tiger range of products.

The new Tiger 900 is a quantum leap ahead from its predecessor taking the adventure motorcycle game in the country notches ahead. The BS6 compliant machine is an amalgamation of cutting edge technology, high specifications and ergonomic handling. The new Tiger 900 will be available in the following variants – Rally Pro, Rally and the GT. While the Rally pro is the top spec motorcycle loaded with multiple rider modes and customization options, the entry level GT with its low seat height will open the premium adventure segment for new adventure riders; the Tiger 900 Rally pro will be the first of the available models for India.

Triumph motorcycles have opened the pre-bookings for the new Tiger 900 on its portal http://tiger-900.triumphmotorcyclesindia.com/ . Bookings are open across all Triumph dealerships with an initial amount of INR 50,000.

Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Shoeb Farooq, Business Head – Triumph Motorcycles India said:

“The Triumph Tiger has an incredibly rich history, with a bloodline of dedicated off-road models spanning the last 80+ years. It has played a significant role in establishing the premium adventure segment in the country, a niche that Triumph motorcycles helms. With the all-new Tiger 900, we want to set new benchmarks in the segment and transform every ride for maximum adventure.

He further added,

“While the idea was to launch the Tiger 900 in May, but it will now come only in June. Looking at the anticipation and response from the customers we decided to open the pre-bookings, so as to be able to service the first set of customers.  With the opening of pre-bookings today, we look forward to welcoming more customers in the Triumph family; customers can now book the world’s longest-running adventure motorcycle before it hits the Indian shores either online or by visiting their nearest Triumph dealership.”

With the ongoing pandemic and the opening of businesses, Triumph has put across an SOP to ensure social distancing and hygiene norms are followed across all its dealerships. All motorcycles will be sanitized before test rides and dealership visits will be aligned only on booking a prior appointment. Triumph has also initiated home test rides & home deliveries of bikes keeping aligned with the social distancing norms recommended by the Government.

Triumph is one of the first premium motorcycle brands in the country to begin the transition towards doing digital business while minimizing physical engagement in all its processes at dealerships.
