Ultra Rare Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini Launched in India: First Unit Delivered in Mumbai

The highly anticipated new Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini, a masterpiece born from the collaboration between two iconic Italian manufacturers, has been officially launched in India. The very first unit of this ultra-rare collector’s motorcycle was successfully delivered to a customer in Mumbai. Automotive enthusiasts will have a hard time getting their hands on one now, as the remaining allocated units for India have already been booked, and the motorcycle is completely sold out worldwide.

A Masterpiece of Italian Collaboration

This launch marks the opening of the third chapter in the prestigious partnership between Ducati and Automobili Lamborghini. Both companies are symbolic of Italian excellence and share deep roots in the Emilia region’s Motor Valley. They share core values of sophisticated technology, exclusivity, and sportiness. This ongoing collaboration brings together their passion, ingenuity, and expertise, previously seen in highly successful models like the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini and the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini.

Drawing Inspiration from the Lamborghini Revuelto

The creative synergy between Ducati Centro Stile and Lamborghini Centro Stile resulted in a collector’s motorcycle directly inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto. The Revuelto is Automobili Lamborghini’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car, which set a new benchmark for on-board technology, performance, and driving thrills.

  • The Revuelto utilizes a powertrain generating 1015 hp, combining a new V12 internal combustion engine with three high-density electric motors.
  • By utilizing extensive carbon fibre and ultralight materials, the Revuelto achieves a historic weight-to-power ratio of 1.75 kg/CV.
  • This translates into a breathtaking acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 350 km/h.

The Panigale V4 Lamborghini perfectly captures this high-performance essence.

Design, Aerodynamics, and Carbon Fibre Excellence

The technical foundation for this spectacular motorcycle is the new Panigale V4 S, which is highly advanced thanks to an extremely effective chassis and electronic innovations like Race eCBS and the Ducati Vehicle Observer. It features unique elements specifically inspired by the collaboration.

  • The forged aluminium wheel rims have been styled to match those of the Revuelto.
  • The aerodynamic wings and tail piece were heavily reworked by Ducati’s designers following the lines of the super sports car from Sant’Agata Bolognese.
  • The motorcycle features an exclusive livery based on the black colour of carbon fibre with visible texture.
  • It includes detailing in Verde Scandal, Grigio Telesto, and Grigio Acheso.
  • The dedicated seat is inspired by the interior of the Revuelto.
  • The motorcycle is exclusively offered in India in this specific Lamborghini livery.

Further emphasizing the premium nature of the build, the bodywork and components like the heat shield, front and rear mudguards, and heel guard are made entirely of carbon fibre. This uses the exact same carbon fibre weave featured in Lamborghini’s super sports cars. On the symmetry line of the bike, where the weave intersects, a typical herringbone design is found, showcasing artisanal work of the highest precision.

Engine Specifications and Unmatched Performance

Thanks to its carbon fibre components and an approved Akrapovic titanium exhaust, the Panigale V4 Lamborghini is the lightest and most powerful model in its family.

  • The bike is equipped with a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine.
  • It generates a maximum power of 218.5 hp at 13,500 rpm.
  • It produces a maximum torque of 122.1 Nm at 11,250 rpm.
  • The high number of carbon fibre components brings the weight down to just 185 kg, almost 2 kg lighter than the standard Panigale V4 S.
  • This incredible weight reduction pushes the power-to-weight ratio to an impressive 1.18 hp/kg.
  • The chassis features an Aluminium tank with a 17-litre capacity.
  • It utilizes Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) 3.0, including an Ohlins NPX-30 pressurised fork and an Ohlins TTX 36 shock absorber.

Limited Production and The Speciale Clienti Edition

Exclusivity is a major focal point for this launch. The standard Panigale V4 Lamborghini is a limited edition restricted to just 630 numbered examples globally.

In addition to the standard run, Ducati announced the highly coveted “Speciale Clienti” edition.

  • This is an even more restricted series of just 63 numbered units.
  • These are reserved exclusively for existing Lamborghini clients.
  • These elite clients will be able to perfectly configure their motorcycle with the exact same colours as their personal Lamborghini super sports car.

Premium Pricing and Exclusive Accessories

The Panigale V4 Lamborghini is priced at INR 1,00,00,000 (Ex-Showroom India). Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, highlighted that the motorcycle is not just a bike, but a “collector’s masterpiece that embodies innovation, sportiness, and the unmistakable spirit of Italian automotive artistry”.

Each buyer receives a highly premium delivery experience complete with bespoke accessories:

  • The bike features a triple clamp machined from billet aluminium bearing the model name and the exact example number.
  • The same identifying number is laser-etched onto the aluminium badge of the ignition key.
  • The dashboard features a dedicated animation at key-on displaying the name of the motorbike and the example number.
  • The motorcycle is delivered in an exclusive customised wooden crate complete with a dedicated rear stand matching the bike’s livery.
  • A certificate of authenticity and a dedicated motorbike cover in a personalised box are included.

For enthusiasts wanting to take their machine to the track, additional non-homologated equipment is provided, such as a carbon fibre open clutch cover, brake caliper air conveyors, a racing fuel tank cap in billet aluminium, and a license plate holder removal kit.
