Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd., an innovative company in sustainable mobility, has announced that it has started delivering India’s first high-performance electric motorcycle, the F77, to customers from its manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. This milestone marks the beginning of the company’s next phase of growth, including expanding its global presence and setting up dealerships nationwide.

The F77: A Stunning and Technologically Advanced Electric Motorcycle

Commenting on the milestone, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said that the F77 is a result of their pursuit of creating an electric motorcycle that is a head-turner across all parameters. The F77’s stunning design and exhilarating performance are one-of-a-kind and proudly Indian in every aspect. The F77 sets a new benchmark for two-wheeler R&D in India, exceeding all expectations in terms of design and performance.

The F77 is the fastest, most technologically advanced, and most stunning electric two-wheeler on Indian roads today. It is imagined, designed, and made entirely in India. The F77 comes in three forms – Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser – reflecting three striking personalities. Each of the forms comes in two variants – the F77 and the F77 Recon – with an IDC Range of 206 km and 307 km, respectively. Enthusiasts and seasoned riders can book their F77 on the official website.

Expansion Plans

With deliveries underway, Ultraviolette is now focusing on expanding its presence both nationally and globally. The company is establishing a network of dealerships nationwide, making it easier for customers to purchase and service their Ultraviolette electric vehicles. Ultraviolette is also accelerating its expansion into new international markets, where it sees a growing demand for performance electric motorcycles.

To support the next stage of growth, Ultraviolette is announcing plans to raise $120M in a fresh round of investment. The funds will fuel the company’s global expansion plans and support its ongoing vehicle platform development efforts. Ultraviolette has raised over $55 million since inception, and previous financing rounds have seen participation from leading investment companies including Europe’s EXOR Capital, US-based Qualcomm Ventures, TVS Motor Company, Zoho Corp, Gofrugal Technologies, and Speciale Invest.

Ultraviolette’s Foray into Electric Motorsports

Recently in January, Ultraviolette also unveiled the F99 Factory Racing Platform to the world at the Auto Expo 2023, signalling its foray into electric motorsports as a development ground for cutting-edge advanced technologies in mobility. With the F77 and F99, Ultraviolette has proven that India can develop EV platforms that match and exceed global benchmarks, and the company is proud to soon take the brand to global markets.

With the commencement of deliveries of the F77, Ultraviolette has achieved a significant milestone in its journey towards sustainable mobility. The F77 is a stunning and technologically advanced electric motorcycle that sets a new benchmark for two-wheeler R&D in India. Ultraviolette’s expansion plans, including the establishment of dealerships nationwide and raising funds to fuel its global expansion, will make it easier for customers to purchase and service Ultraviolette electric vehicles. The company’s foray into electric motorsports is a testament to its commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobility technology.
