Advanced Technology: The motorcycles come equipped with Ultraviolette’s proprietary “Violette A.I.” system and switchable Dual-Channel ABS developed by Bosch. Riders also benefit from 10 levels of regenerative braking, 4 levels of traction control, and Dynamic Stability Control.

Unveiling the X-47 Crossover: A Benchmark in Safety

A major highlight of the Motorcycle Live Show was the unveiling of the X-47 Crossover. This vehicle fuses two distinct motorcycle segments and is the world’s first motorcycle to feature integrated radar technology as standard across all variants.

The UV HyperSense Radar System The X-47 introduces the Advanced Rider Assistance System powered by UV HyperSense. The radar system adapts to lean angles of up to 20 degrees and compensates for roll and pitch variations. It enhances safety through four core functions:

  1. Blind Spot Detection: Scans blind zones and alerts riders to fast-approaching vehicles.
  2. Lane Change Assist: Alerts riders of collision risks when initiating a lane change.
  3. Overtake Alert: Monitors vehicles approaching from the rear with the intent to overtake.
  4. Rear Collision Warning: Detects rear-end collision threats and warns the rider via integrated mirrors while activating hazard lights.

Charging Technology The X-47 features a highly power-dense air-cooled onboard charger. It supports seamless AC charging and is engineered to operate at full capacity even in extreme temperatures ranging from 45 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius.

Future Mobility: Tesseract and Shockwave

Ultraviolette also displayed two other significant platforms aimed at diverse rider segments.

The Tesseract Scooter The Tesseract is marketed as the world’s first scooter to incorporate both radar and dashcam technology.

  • Safety: Features include blind-spot detection, lane change assist, and real-time collision alerts integrated into Omnisense mirrors.
  • Specs: It rides on 14-inch wheels and includes traction control, dynamic regeneration, a 7-inch TFT display, and 34 liters of under-seat storage.

The Shockwave Lightweight Motorcycle Designed to reignite the joy of riding similar to the “2-stroke” era, the Shockwave focuses on fun and accessibility.

  • Performance: It delivers 505 Nm of torque at the rear wheel and accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.
  • Design: The bike features a 19-inch front spoked wheel and a 17-inch rear spoked wheel.

Strategic Partnership with MotoMondo

The UK expansion is supported by MotoMondo, a distributor with over 25 years of experience in the motorcycle industry. Jan Ykema, Managing Director of MotoMondo, emphasized that the F77 series aligns perfectly with the UK’s dynamic motorcycling culture. He noted that as restrictions on internal combustion engine vehicles increase, Ultraviolette offers a genuine and affordable mobility solution.
