VIDA, powered by Hero, has launched the VX2 EVOOTER, aiming to make electric vehicle ownership more accessible and affordable in India. The launch introduces disruptive customer solutions, including a “Pay-per-kilometre” Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and competitive pricing for its new electric scooter.

Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, stated,
“With the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER, we are not simply launching a product—we are delivering an ecosystem that empowers change. This is our promise: to make sustainable mobility widely accessible, to make our products highly affordable, and to always lead with trust, responsibility, and purpose.”

Introducing the “EVOOTER”
VIDA has introduced a new category in electric mobility called the “EVOOTER”. This concept combines the sustainability and performance of an EV with the practicality and comfort of a traditional scooter. The VX2 is available in two variants, the VX2 Plus and VX2 Go, both featuring removable batteries.
Pricing Structure:
- With BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service):
- VX2 Plus: ₹64,990 (ex-showroom)
- VX2 Go: ₹59,490 (ex-showroom)
- Without BaaS:
- VX2 Plus: ₹109,990 (ex-showroom)
- VX2 Go: ₹99,490 (ex-showroom)
Range:
- VX2 Plus: Up to 142 kms (IDC test) with a 3.4 kWh battery.
- VX2 Go: Up to 92 kms (IDC test) with a 2.2 kWh battery.

Innovative Ownership Models
The “Pay-per-km” subscription model starts at just ₹0.96 per kilometre, significantly lowering the upfront cost of ownership. The BaaS package also includes complimentary battery replacement if performance drops below 70% and access to VIDA’s fast-charging network.

Key Features of the VIDA VX2
- Powertrain and Design: The VX2 features a refined electric powertrain with removable batteries, a modern design with seven new color options, and a long, plush seat for two-passenger comfort.
- Technology: It is the only scooter in its class with remote immobilization and cloud connectivity. It also offers seamless smartphone integration for ride stats and updates. The VX2 Plus has a 4.3-inch TFT screen, while the VX2 Go has a 4.3-inch LCD, both with turn-by-turn navigation.
- Charging: The battery can be fast-charged to 80% in just 60 minutes. The removable batteries also offer flexible charging options at any plug point.
- Practicality: The scooter is equipped with the widest-in-segment 12-inch wheels for better stability and handling. The VX2 Go model includes a spacious 33.2-litre boot that can fit a full-face helmet.
