Vietnamese based automobile manufacturer, VinFast for the first time has previewed its upcoming car models VF6 and VF7 in Bengaluru, India. The display of VinFast’s premium cars VF6 and VF7 happened last week (29 June 2025) at Bengaluru’s popular shopping mall – Lulu Mall.
The models which VinFast displayed (VF6 and VF7) will be in the price band of Rs 25 lakhs to Rs 30 lakhs. Currently the models which were on displayed were LHD (Left Hand Drive) cars meaning these are CBU units imported directly from Vietnam,. When the car will be officially launched n India, VinFast will be getting RHD models. The company has opened a manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu state of India. Local manufacturing of VF6 and VF7 models are set to happen in upcoming months.
VF6 ( the one in grey), VF7 ( the one in red) are electric cars – VinFast will be solely manufacturing electric only cars in India. As per the limited specs sheet data which we had access to – the VF7 will be powered by a 70kwH battery offering a maximum range of 450 Kms where as VF6 will be equipped with slightly lower battery capacity of 56 kWh offering a range of 300-350 Kms.
The VF7 offers edge-to-edge sunroof, Heads-up display, ADAS and many other advanced features. The design of Vinfast VF7 and Vinfast VF6 are inspired by airplane and it is done by European based design studio called Torino studio.
VinFast wants to position itself as mass-to-premium segment – A segment higher than Maruti Suzuki , and a segment lower than BMW…
