American automaker, Tesla Motors, the company focussed in manufacturing electric cars, powertrains and battery products did a big announcement by delivering the first crossover SUV, Model X to its customers on a live launch event. This is Tesla Motors’ third entry into all-electric automobile market after the launch of Tesla Roadster, and popular Model S sedan.

Model X comes with the all the world-class cutting edge features. Elon Musk of Tesla Motors presented how this SUV from Tesla Motors is the most safest car and gets a 5 star NHTSA rating with a mere 6.5% probability of accident. The presentation from Elon Must showcased how safe is Model X in terms of Side Angle pole impact intrusion, roll-over injury risk of 8.1%. Reduced side collision impact and emergency braking system are present.

Tesla’s Model X comes with HEPA certified clean air filter. The clean air filter which is used in Tesla Model X is bigger, that is 10 times larger than that of air filters present in the other cars. The Audience watching the Tesla Model X cheered loudly when Elon Musk announced that the car comes with bio-weapon defense button.

The car comes with a unique feature called blind hosting feature for phones which supports all phone platforms. The most attractive and innovative feature of Tesla Model X is Falcon Wing doors. The car has better seating system even for third row. The falcon wings are very intelligent and it opens carefully keeping the nearby parked cars in mind, thanks to the sensors which senses the roof height.

The car can hook upto 4 bikes. Talking about the performance of the bike, Tesla Model X is an all-wheel drive car- the base model 90D reaching 0 – 60 Mph in mere 4.8 seconds. The top speed of Tesla Model X 90D is 155 Mph. Talking about the P90D car, the car reaches 0-60 Mp in just 3.2 seconds.

The all new cross-over SUV Model X from Tesla Motors comes in 2 different variants – Model X 90D and Model X P90D. The price of Model X 90D is USD 132,000 and the acceleration-friendly P90D comes with a price tag of $142,000 and cover 250 miles.

How much would be the price of Tesla Model X in India?

Although Tesla Motors does not have presence in India, we can optimally wait for Tesla cars to get launched in India. If we convert the price of high end P90D Model X car which is 142,000$ to Indian rupees it would cost 93.3 lakhs and the price of base model 90D Model X car would be 132,000$ which is 86.7 lakhs INR in India.
