Yamaha Saluto Matt Green color launched

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. today launched a new colour variant, of its economical and practical motorcycle, the Yamaha Saluto (125 CC) available in the Indian market to add more colours and to infuse excitement during the upcoming festive season. Further, cementing its position in the 125 CC commuter segment, Yamaha has introduced the Saluto in a vibrant and new colour – Matt Green. Taking care of the varied customer demands, the new colour variant of the bike will be available in both versions drum brake and disc brake.

Yamaha Saluto Drum Brake Version

Retaining its other basic features which were designed keeping in mind the specific requirements of commuter segment, Saluto offers air cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-Valve engine based on the Blue Core* Engine Development ideal. Being the lightest bike in its class at 113 kg, Saluto offers a mileage of 78 kmpl**.

Available across all authorized Yahama dealers in the country in another week, the new colour variant will be manufactured by IYM (India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd.) and marketed by YMIS (Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd.).

Yamaha Saluto with Drum Brakes (Matt Green) is priced at Rs. 53,600 /- (Ex-showroom Delhi). Yamaha Saluto with Disc Brakes (Matt Green) Rs. 56,100/- (Ex-showroom Delhi)

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said,

Since its launch, Saluto has gained immense popularity in the commuter segment. The launch of new vibrant colour schemes and graphics of Saluto are in line with Yamaha’s promise to constantly delight its customers. While the core concept of Saluto remains the same, Yamaha strives to continuously interact and excite its target audience with the new products and services.

Yamaha ‘Saluto’ has been designed keeping in mind the needs expressed by the 125 CC customers and that included a priority on fuel economy, along with affordable pricing. In response to these market needs, the new Saluto was developed around the concept of an ‘Economical & Practical Indian Family Motorcycle’. It’s utility as seen by the company lies in the shared usage of the family for commuting, tandem riding, shopping trips and other local errands.
