All-New 2026 Ducati Monster Launched in India: Redefining Naked Sport Performance

Ducati India has officially launched the fifth-generation 2026 Ducati Monster. Redesigned from the ground up under the philosophy “everything you need, nothing more,” the new Monster brings a lighter body, an updated V2 engine with variable valve timing, advanced electronics, and a fresh aesthetic that won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award Product Design 2026.

  • Engine & Power: Powered by an 890 cc Ducati V2 engine featuring Intake Variable Timing (IVT). It generates 111 CV (110.7 HP) at 9,000 RPM and 91.1 Nm of torque at 7,250 RPM, delivering over 80% of peak torque between 4,000 and 10,000 RPM.
  • Ultra-Lightweight Chassis: The bike features a monocoque frame, a Panigale V4-inspired double-sided swingarm, and a rear subframe composed of trellis and technopolymer. Wet weight (without fuel) stands at 175 kg—4 kg lighter than the previous generation.
  • Suspension & Braking: Equipped with a 43 mm upside-down Showa front fork, a preload-adjustable Showa rear monoshock, twin 320 mm front discs with Brembo M4.32 radial calipers, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.
  • Advanced Electronics: Features a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU), 4 Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Urban, Wet), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, and Cornering ABS.
  • Display & Ergonomics: Comes with a 5-inch full-TFT color display with a new petal-shaped control joystick, an 815 mm seat height (5 mm lower than before), and forward-positioned handlebars for better control.
