Royal Enfield posted sales of 58,838 motorcycles in the month of January, against the sales of 68,887 motorcycles for the same month last year, despite production being impacted by the onset of the third wave of COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing shortage of semiconductor chips. Royal Enfield continued to strengthen its global growth story and delivered a stellar performance in international markets with exports of 9,112 motorcycles during the month as compared to 4,515 during the same period last year, marking a growth of over 102%.
All New Classic 350 launched in the Philippines, Korea, Australia and New Zealand
Royal Enfield continued to bring the smooth and refined riding experience on the all new Classic 350 to global markets, with its launch in the Philippines, Korea, Australia and New Zealand in January following launches in India and Thailand in 2021. The iconic, timeless motorcycle is retro styled and comes with all the underpinnings of a contemporary motorcycle based on the modern J-series engine and an all-new chassis. The 100,000th unit of the all new Classic 350 rolled out from the company’s manufacturing facility recently and the motorcycle continues to receive an overwhelmingly positive response across markets from experts and the riding communities.
