Tata TIGOR Bookings Open; Launch on 29th March 2017

Indian car manufacturer Tata Motors today opened the bookings for its upcoming TIGOR compact sedan. Scheduled to be launched on 29th March, Tata TIGOR has already been previewed several times in the name of “Kite 5” in Auto Expo 2016 and was displayed at recently conducted TIGOR StyleBack Media Drive which happened in Delhi. The specifications of Tata TIGOR is out ahead of its launch. The all new upcoming Tata TIGOR will be featuring similar engine as that of Tata Tiago.

The all new Tata TIGOR is going to be the next big product from Tata Motors in the Indian market. Various Tata Motors dealerships across the country have now started accepting bookings of TIGOR for INR 5000. The all new Tata TIGOR compact sedan gets similar components, design of Tiago hatchback. Tigor shares most of its body parts and interior with the Tiago hatchback but also gets additional features and a neatly integrated tail section.

The all new Tata TIGOR will be offered in both diesel and petrol engine variants. The diesel variant of Tata TIGOR gets a 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder Revotorq engine that churns out 69 BHP of power at 4,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 140Nm at 1800-3000 rpm.

The petrol variant of new Tata TIGOR shall feature a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revotron engine which delivers a maximum power of 84 bhp at 6000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm.

The TIGOR compact sedan will be officially launched in India on March 29, 2017 and is betting big against its competitors.
