Expect TVS Jupiter GST Price to go down from July 1

Earlier this week, we reported about Bajaj Auto passing benefits upto INR 4,500 to customers even before the official GST roll-out from July 1 and we also reported about Honda passing benefits upto 3-5% on GST prices on its scooters and motorcycles. We followed up with TVS Motor Company which is a major player in the Indian 2 Wheeler industry to check if consumers can expect any noticeable changes in the prices of TVS range of scooters and motorcycles post GST implementation from July 1. Following is the official statement from TVS Motor Company on new GST Prices:

We are very optimistic about GST which is a landmark reform . It will bring in a lot of ease in doing business . We will be passing on the benefits to our customers.

Going by the trend and how other manufacturers are responding, it looks like there is going to be a confirmed 3-5% reduction in the price of scooters and motorcycles in the industry including that of TVS. While exact figures are not known, we can only speculate the upcoming GST prices of TVS scooters and motorcycles.
