Citroën India today announced the launch of New Aircross, its popular SUV, marking a bold evolution in both its identity and features. The updated Aircross stands out not only with its new identity but also with advanced comfort, safety, and cutting-edge technology, everything that aligns with the evolving needs of Indian consumers. The Aircross SUV will appeal to a wide range of customers with its spacious design, and advanced safety and world-renowned comfort technology. The new Aircross introduces several key improvements that enhance its safety, comfort, and overall driving experience. New features include six airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors for improved safety. The SUV now comes equipped with LED projector headlamps, ensuring better visibility and automatic air conditioning with climate control. Enhanced interior features include power window switches on the doors, grab handles on the passenger side, power-folding ORVMs, and a rear AC vent. Additionally, the interior is upgraded with a soft-touch instrument panel, contributing to a more refined and premium ambience.
Moreover, the Citroën Aircross now further stands out with its engine options. It features the advanced 1.2 L Gen 3 PURETECH 110 turbo and new PURETECH 82 Naturally Aspirated engines, delivering up to 110ps and 205Nm of torque. Customers can choose between 5 speed MT, 6 speed MT, and 6 speed AT configurations, ensuring a versatile and dynamic driving experience. The Aircoss comes now with over 40 advanced safety features electronic stability program, tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill-hold assist for a smooth and confident driving experience across diverse terrains. The Aircross will be available in 5 and 5+2 seating options, further giving a choice to the customers.
These upgrades complement the SUV’s existing strengths, such as the highest boot space in its segment—511 litres when the third row is removed—and Citroën’s signature advanced suspension system for superior ride comfort. Additional highlights include a 10.25-inch infotainment system, the MyCitroën Connect app with 40 connectivity features, and extensive customization options with over 70 accessories. With intelligent storage solutions and a 360 mm compact steering wheel, the Aircross continues to stand out in the market.
