Ford Figo launch is expected in this month and Ford India is all set to shed lights on new details of the Figo Aspire – the compact sedan from Ford. Ford has officially revealed that Farhan Akhtar is going to be Ford Aspire’s brand ambassador.

What is new with Ford Figo Aspire?
Talking from the consumer point of view, let us put up a question – “What is Ford going to offer in the Figo Aspire car?’ – the immediate answer is the rumored 6 speed dual clutch ‘PowerShift’ automatic which is heading to this car. Few things from Ford Figo Aspire are unclear whether the car would be offered with the 1.2 liter Ti-VCT petrol engine or with the 1.5 liter TDCi diesel engine. We will have to wait for the official release in order to know about Aspire. In the other hand, it was speculated that the 6 speed dual clutch automatic shall come with the larger 1.5 liter Ti-VCT motor (Similar to that of Ford Ecosport). Also, from the information which we have, we know that Ford is offering Aspire with segment-first side and driver airbags, accounting for a total of 6 airbags. Just not this, Ford is also offering ESP Electronic Stability Control and Hill Launch Assist for the first time.
Ford India has also confirmed that seats are going to be made of leather for the compact sedan, which is again a segment-first feature. Just like the current Figo, Ford unveiled that Figo Aspire would have the best-in-class air conditioning system. Unlike the current Ford Figo, you would also get power foldable outside rear view mirrors. Another interesting thing about Ford Figo Aspire is presence of “Ford MyKey” – which is a programmable key that lets you restrict car’s top speed and audio volume along with other options.
