Ford India’s combined domestic wholesales and exports grew to
24,832 vehicles in March from 21,198 vehicles in the corresponding month last year.
March domestic wholesales grew to 8,700 vehicles up from 7,560 units while the exports grew to 16,132 vehicles from 13,638 units in the same month last year.

Furthermore, our efforts in addressing the cost of ownership perception and the promise of a differentiated and transparent experience helped us deliver above industry growth rate in the first quarter.
In the first quarter of 2017, the combined domestic wholesale and exports grow to 63,117 vehicles compared to 51,338 in the first quarter last year.
Continuing to deliver the quintessential fun associated with driving a Ford vehicle, the company organized “Great Ford Endeavour Drive” in Bengaluru. The experiential drive saw Ford Endeavour overcome challenging off-roading conditions — sharp turns, steep hill climbs & hill descent, wading through slush, driving at a 30-degree tilt to name a few.
Celebrating the World Water Day in March, Ford renewed its commitment to the environment with Chennai Plant achieving zero liquid discharge and installing equipment to harvest 3,000 cubic meters of rain water in 2016. Ford’s Sanand Vehicle Assembly and Engine Plant continued its benchmark of 100 percent of treated water being recycled and reused within the plant.
Strengthening its “Better World” initiatives focusing on education, the company set up a Robotic training facility in Ahmedabad to help students hone their skills on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Technology) Education. Situated at Shri Ram Vidyalaya, the Centre will cater to 100 students every calendar year and managed by trained teachers and Ford Volunteers.
