Hero MotoCorp Ride Safe India 2026: Enhancing Road Safety Culture

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has officially commenced its inclusive Ride Safe India campaign to coincide with National Road Safety Month. This three-month initiative is designed to transform road safety from a simple compliance requirement into a shared everyday social responsibility across India.

Aligned with National Safety Standards

The campaign is strictly aligned with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways’ (MoRTH) 4Es of Road Safety:

  • Education: Raising awareness through community and school-level engagement.
  • Engineering: Implementing physical safety measures and intelligent product features.
  • Enforcement: Collaborating with traffic authorities to instill a culture of law-abiding behavior.
  • Emergency Care: Training individuals to act as first responders during critical moments.

The campaign will feature on-ground interventions and technology-driven awareness initiatives specifically in Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Jaipur.

Strategic Safety Initiatives

Hero MotoCorp is targeting measurable impacts through several specialized programs:

  • Safe School Zones: The company will establish 10 Safe School Zones featuring speed-calming measures, road markings, and 200 signages at key intersections.
  • Surakshit Saathi: This program aims to train and certify over 1000 delivery executives as first responders, equipping them with emergency response modules and safety gear.
  • Digital Outreach: A target has been set for over one million participants to take Digital Road Safety Pledges.
  • Inclusivity: Marking International Women’s Day, Hero MotoCorp will host a Women’s Bike Rally for 100 riders and honor women traffic police officers.

A Decade of Impact

This latest drive builds upon Hero MotoCorp’s decade-long commitment to safer mobility, which has already positively impacted 1.6 million people across the country. By combining infrastructure improvements with behavioral training, the company continues to support India’s national road safety agenda.
