Further solidifying its commitment to make Indian roads safer, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) today flagged off its road safety program in Karnataka. This program in association with Karnataka police aims to provide quick assistance to road accident victims and save their lives.
Fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, Honda 2Wheelers India is empowering Karnataka police with fully equipped motorcycles having features such as revolving flashers & blinkers, public announcement system, sirens, flash lights, safety helmets, wind screen & cruiser side box.
The flag-off ceremony of the specially equipped motorcycles was done in the august presence of Mr. K. V Sharath Chandra, IPS (Inspector General of Police – Central Range), Mr. J Manjunath, IAS (District Collector, Kolar), Mr. Karthik Reddy, IPS (S.P – Kolar District), Mr Harbhajan Singh (Director – General & Corporate Affairs, HMSI), Mr. Naveen Awal (Vice President & Operating Head – Narsapura plant, HMSI), Mr. Hiroki Chubachi (Executive Vice President, HMSI) and senior dignitaries from State government, Karnataka Police and Honda 2Wheelers India at the police parade ground in Kolar.
