Mahindra NuvoSport SUV revealed; Launch on April 1st Week
India’s leading SUV manufacturer, Mahindra has today revealed the name of its upcoming SUV as ‘NuvoSport’. This is the very first time the company has revealed details on Mahindra NuvoSport which will be launched in the very first week of April 2016. The images of new NuvoSport are released.
Mahindra NuvoSport – What’s new?
The company has said that NuvoSport will be based on the same new generation platform as the Mahindra Scorpio. The Mahindra NuvoSport photos reveals the new SUV’s bold and aggressive styling. The all new NuvoSport derives its name from its sporty styling and its innate ability to enable an active lifestyle. NuvoSport SUV is specifically targeted at those who lead an active, outdoorsy lifestyle and have a bucket list of experiences to tick off regularly during their lifetime.
Mr Pravin Shah who is the President and Chief Executive, (Automotive) at M&M Ltd. said in press statement,
Today, Mahindra enjoys the strongest equity in the SUV segment in India. Being a customer centric organization we identified a need gap in the market and designed the NuvoSport to meet the needs of those customers who lead an active lifestyle and are looking for a sporty and fun to drive SUV. I am sure that with the addition of the NuvoSport, we will further consolidate our leadership in the SUV segment and effectively address the entire gamut of customer segments across price points ranging all the way from 4.5 lacs to 25 lacs.
Mahindra NuvoSport Design and Development
Mahindra NuvoSport has been designed and developed internally by the Mahindra design team, where as the research and development ( R&D ) of the vehicle has been carried out at the world class Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in the city of Chennai. Mahindra claims that the research and development activities for the new NuvoSport SUV were planned with high standards of quality, and accessible technology while ensuring that it met highest standards of safety and emission norms.
