Performance and Hardware Upgrades

The most significant mechanical change for the updated Trident 660 is the introduction of a more sophisticated suspension system. Triumph has equipped the motorcycle with Showa Big Piston forks (SFF-BP), which are designed to provide improved handling and better stability, particularly during aggressive riding or under heavy braking.

The core performance remains centered around the proven 660cc, liquid-cooled, inline-three engine. Key specifications include:

  • Maximum Power: 79.8 bhp at 10,250 rpm.
  • Peak Torque: 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm.
  • Top Speed: Approximately 212 kmph.
  • Kerb Weight: 189 kg.

New Standard Electronics Package

Triumph has significantly enhanced the value of the Trident 660 by making several premium electronic aids standard features rather than optional extras.

  • Standard Quickshifter: A bi-directional quickshifter is now included as standard for seamless gear changes.
  • Cruise Control: This touring-friendly feature has been added to the standard kit, improving comfort for long-distance highway rides.
  • Additional Riding Mode: A new Sport mode joins the existing Rain and Road modes, offering sharper throttle response.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: The My Triumph Connectivity system is now standard, enabling turn-by-turn navigation and control for music and GoPro devices directly from the TFT display.

New Colors and India Pricing

The updated model is available in four distinct color schemes, with pricing reflecting the choice of livery:

Color VariantEx-Showroom Price
Jet BlackRs. 8.99 Lakh
Cosmic YellowRs. 9.14 Lakh
Cobalt BlueRs. 9.14 Lakh
Diablo RedRs. 9.14 Lakh
