New Yamaha R-15 V3 set to launch in 2017

2017 is already proving to be a great year for bike enthusiasts with a lot of new launches. Why sit back? Is what Yamaha is thinking. Yamaha is planning on getting the face lifted version of the R-15 V3 to India next year. Yamaha R-15 has been a favourite 150 cc segment sports bike in India for quite a while and Yamaha is planning on making it better.

Yamaha R-15 V3 is set to launch for the Indian market in 2017 and will be powered by the same single cylinder 150 cc , liquid cooled engine. We are expecting it to be better powered than the present R-15 which has a power output of 16 Bhp and 15 Nm of torque. Yamaha says its focusing on making the motorbike better than the existing one by increasing the performance and adding safety features. Their main focus is on giving the people a more value for money product.

The all new Yamaha R-15 V3 will sport upside down forks and all new LED headlamps. It also gets a digital instrument cluster with blue back-lights. We can see new body panels and a lowered rear seat with an intermediate cushion.

We expect the bike to have a more refined engine with a track focused approach. The new R-15 V3 will receive new colour combinations as well. We wait to find out about the rest.
