Royal Enfield, a leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, announced the official launch of the Bullet 650 in India today. Retail operations and availability across all authorized dealerships in the country commence immediately. The latest iteration of the longest-running motorcycle in continuous production is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3,64,856.

Strategic Evolution and Market Positioning

Introduced initially in 1932, the Bullet is currently in its 94th year of production. The new 650cc variant integrates modern engineering while preserving the brand’s British lineage and Indian manufacturing roots.

B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Limited and CEO of Royal Enfield, stated that the development approach focused on elevating the motorcycle with modernity and authenticity. He noted that the design preserves the proportions, silhouette, and detailing of the original machine while incorporating the power and refinement of the parallel twin 650cc platform. Furthermore, Govindarajan highlighted that the global interest generated during the motorcycle’s showcase at EICMA 2025 affirms its continued resonance with riders worldwide.

The transition to a larger displacement platform brings substantial updates to the motorcycle’s core architecture and mechanical components.
