Suzuki Gixxer SF launched
Suzuki Motorcycle India today (on April 7) has unveiled a brand new motorcycle – Suzuki Gixxer SF. Suzuki’s brand new motorcycle is a full faired version of the earlier launched, naked Suzuki Gixxer. The bike retains similar engine, chassis and suspension.
Before the launch, Suzuki showcased a trailer with a “coming soon” note hinting about the bike’s launch. The new Gixxer SF comes with a fairing-mounted rear view mirrors and also with turn indicators. Gixxer SF’s headlight is exact same as the one present in original version of Suzuki Gixxer (naked version). The fairing of the announced bike resembles Suzuki Motorcycle India’s flagship sports bike – the famous Hayabusa.
Suzuki Gixxer SF has a very different exhaust muffler cover, the sharper lines present on it makes it look very unique – the bike stands out of the crowd because of a different exhaust muffler. The Gixxer SF is powered by a 155cc engine. The engine is air-cooled, 4 stroke , comes with only one cylinder and has a carbureted motor. Gixxer SF churns out maximum power of 14.6 bhp at 8,000 RPM. Gixxer SF has a maximum torque of 1.43kgm which is produced at 6,000 RPM.
New Gixxer SF is featured with thick telescopic forks up front and at the rear the bike has an adjustable monoshock system. The motorcycle’s braking system is managed by a 230 mm disc at the front and a drum brake is present at the rear.
Price of Suzuki Gixxer SF
The price of Suzuki Gixxer SF is Rs 83,439 as per ex-showroom in Delhi.
