The much awaited Suzuki Gixxer SF is going to be launched today ( April 7). Suzuki Motorcycles now has released an exclusive teaser on their YouTube channel and has also revealed details that it would be launched by India’s popular celebrity Salman Khan.

Gixxer SF is a faired version of Suzuki Gixxer which is going to be available for sale from April 7 onwards. The upcoming motorcycle would be sold under Gixxer SF moniker and it is more of a Fazer rival than a Yamaha R15 adversary.

Talking about the specifications of the bike, CarBlogIndia – Indian automobile blog writes,
No surprises here! The upcoming motorcycle will share its engine with the Gixxer and hence, will be powered by the same 154.9 cc single-cylinder engine that powers the donor model. However, the very fact that the bike’s full fairing covers almost the entire of the engine makes us believe that the motor would benefit from liquid cooling on this bike. For the Gixxer, this engine pumps out a maximum power of 14.6 bhp @ 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm @ 6,000 rpm, and comes mated to a slick shifting five-speed manual transmission.
