Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, today presented a diverse range of multi-pathway two-wheeler mobility solutions at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, under the theme ‘Spectrum of Mobility’.

At the forefront is the company’s first electric scooter, the e-ACCESS, a significant step towards electric mobility. Alongside this, Suzuki Motorcycle India launched the all-new Access, reborn with classic urban design, powerful and efficient engine, and a host of advanced features to elevate everyday commuting. Expanding the spectrum further, they also launched its first E-85 fuel compliant motorcycle for the Indian market, the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel, a sports bike designed to drive India towards a carbon neutral society.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Toshihiro Suzuki – Representative Director and President, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, said,

“At Suzuki Motor Corporation, we are committed to our goal of carbon neutrality through a multi-pathway approach. While battery electric vehicles play an important role, they are not the only way to the carbon neutrality. We are also focusing on alternative options such as E-Fuels, Hydrogen Engines, Bio-Fuel models, and better fuel economy in internal combustion engines. The Indian market is largest for Suzuki, and we are committed to the market. By staying true to our mission of creating products of superior value and focusing on customer satisfaction, we aim to grow further in the motorcycle business and contribute meaningfully to customers’ needs.”

Talking about the new products unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Mr. Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India said,

“Spectrum of Mobility – the theme for this year’s Bharat Mobility Global Expo, resonates with Suzuki’s commitment to carbon neutrality and its multi-pathway approach to realizing this goal. At Suzuki Motorcycle India, this vision comes to life through the introduction of our new products: e-ACCESS, our first electric scooter, the ethanol-compatible GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel and the new Access with improved fuel economy. Serving our customers with the highest level of satisfaction and hospitality remains our top priority”.

The e-ACCESS: Suzuki’s First Global Strategic Electric Scooter.
Suzuki’s first electric scooter, the e-Access – Spot On, is born of Suzuki’s passion for quality and delivering superior value. With Spot-on Styling, Spot-on Performance, Spot-on Reliability, Spot-on Practicality and Spot-on Connectivity, the e-ACCESS is a fun, practical and reliable electric scooter.

Powered by a rigorously tested 3.07 kWh battery made of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP), the e-ACCESS delivers a better balance of safety, durability, and long battery life. The LFP battery offers high reliability, especially in the event of damage. Additionally, the fixed battery pack is held in a secure box integrated into the frame adds extra protection. Charging the battery is hassle-free, with options for home charging or on the go with portable chargers. The e-ACCESS can be charged from 0 to 100% in 6 hours and 42 minutes* using a portable charger and in 2 hours 12 minutes* using a fast charger. The complete EV drivetrain of the scooter is powered by Suzuki E-technology.

The e-ACCESS offers a maximum speed of 71 km/h, a maximum power output of 4.1 kW and a maximum torque of 15 Nm. It provides a range of 95 km on a single charge, with an energy consumption rate of 39Wh/km*.

The e-ACCESS has three distinct drive modes—Eco, Ride A, and Ride B—along with a reverse mode for added convenience. Features like a side-stand interlock system and tip-over detection enhance practicality and safety. The keyless system allows riders to lock/unlock the vehicle remotely by key fob. Multi-Function Starter switch provides integrated control over the seat opener, steering lock & charging inlet lid lock functions in a single location. The inclusion of both center stand and side stand set it apart in the category.

Additional features include a colour TFT LCD screen, and smartphone connectivity through the Suzuki Ride Connect-E App, which provides navigation and real-time traffic updates. Design highlights such as raised nameplates and metallic-finish chrome “S” emblem enhance its premium appeal.

The e-ACCESS will be available in three dual-tone colour options – Metallic Mat Black No.2/ Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace White/ Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray and Pearl Jade Green/ Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray. Its pricing will be announced closer to the market launch.
