While Tiago and TIGOR belong to hatchback and compact sedan segment, Hexa is a Sports Utlilty Vehicle (SUV). The Hexa pickup when launched shall take on other popular pickups in the country like Isuzu D-Max V-Cross adventure pickup etc. As of now Hexa pickup is the concept phase and will be displayed at 2018 Auto Expo that happens in Delhi.

Currently the automaker has already showcased another pickup truck model – Xenon – which is not as feature rich as D-Max V-Cross. The upcoming Hexa pickup is aimed to directly compete against Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.

Pricing wise, the upcoming Tata Hexa pickup will be costlier than that of Xenon and at the same time it offers additional features like touchscreen infotainment system etc. The Hexa pickup also boasts of a very muscular as well as strong road presence when compared to Xenon pickup. Hexa drives power from 2.2-litre Varicor 400 diesel engine with Super Drive modes churning out 154 bhp of peak power @ 4000 rpm and 400 Nm of peak torque @ 1700 rpm.
