Tata Tiago vs Hyundai Grand i10 – Engine comparison
Both Tata Tiago and Hyundai Grand i10 gets petrol as well as diesel engine. Tata Tiago gets an 1.2 litre Revotron petrol engine and 1.05 litre Revotorq engine. Hyundai Grand i10 gets 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.1 litre diesel engine.
It is a tie for petrol motor as both Grand i10 and Tata Tiago gets 1.2 litre engine. In the case of diesel variants, the Hyundai Grand i10’s 1.2 litre petrol engine is bigger than Tiago’s Revotorq engine.
Tiago vs Grand i10 – Performance, Power, Torque Comparison
Tata Tiago’s petrol engine offers 85 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque and the Tiago’s diesel engine offers 68 PS of power and a torque of 90 Nm. Let us compare Tiago’s power and torque figures to Hyundai Grand i10.
The petrol version of Hyundai Grand i10 offers 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque while the diesel version of Hyundai Grand i10 can churn out 71 PS pf power and 160 Nm of torque.
Looking at the power figures, Hyundai Grand i10 is the clear winner both in petrol as well as diesel variants.
Tiago vs Grand i10 – Mileage Comparison
What is the fuel efficiency (a.k.a mileage) of Tata Tiago when compared to that of Hyundai Grand i10? The mileage offered by Tata Tiago ( both petrol and diesel) has not been officially revealed. The Petrol variant of Hyundai Grand i10 offers a milage of 18.9 Kmpl and the Grand i10’s diesel variant offers a milage of 24 Kmpl. We will have to wait and watch until Tata officially declares the mileage figures of Tata Tiago before comparing the same.
Tiago vs Grand i10 – Dimensions Comparison
Tata Tiago measures 3746mm in length, 1647mm in width and 1535mm in height where as Hyundai Grand i10’s dimensions are 3,765×1,660×1,520 (read as LxWxH).
The boot space capacity of Tata Tiago is 242 litres where as Hyundai i10 gets a boot space of 256 litres. Tiago’s fuel tank capacity is 35 litres where as Grand i10‘s fuel tank capacity is 43 litres. Tiago’s wheelbase and ground clearance height is same as that of Hyundai Grand i10.

Hyundai Grand i10’s price is in the range of Rs 4.7 to 6.7 lakh, where as the Tata Tiago’s price is expected to be around Rs 3.7 to 5.5 lakhs.
