TVS Akula Price to be around INR 1.7 Lakhs

Good news for sports bike lovers! There is a new motorcycle from TVS Motor Company which is getting launched in March 2017 – The all new TVS Akula 310. The concept of TVS Akula 310 was showcased at Delhi Auto Expo 2016. Now there are floating news about the price of new TVS Akula 310.

The Akula 310 from TVS will be making its debut in Indian market in the month of March 2017. Akula 310 has already been spotted testing various occasions and now the internet is buzzing about the price of Akula 310. The TVS Akula price should be in the range of INR 1.7 Lakhs (ex-showroom) almost matching the price of KTM Duke 200.

If the ongoing internet rumours about the price of TVS Akula 310 happens to be true, there will be even more enthusiasm from the sports bikers inorder to own this motorcycle. The production version of TVS Akula 310 matches the concept of Akula 310 that was showcased earlier in the month of February. The Akula 310 with its affordable pricing is here to woo customers in India.

Under the hood, TVS Akula 310 will be powered by the reworked engine which is found in BMW G310R. The motorcycle will be featuring a 313cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine churning out a maximum power of 34 BHP at 9500 RPM and delivering a peak torque of 28Nm @ 7500 RPM. The Akula 310’s engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.

Just like BMW G310R, The TVS Akula will be built jointly by TVS-BMW Motorrad alliance. Bajaj’s tie-up with Austrian KTM has worked out very well in the past. Now, TVS and BMW Motorrad is set to create a history in sports bike segment with similar inter-brand tie-up.

The Akula 310 is developed jointly by TVS & BMW Motorrad. This synergy is similar to what’s happening with Bajaj & KTM.

The Akula 310 when launched is going to be the first ever fully-faired motorcycle from TVS.
