Volkswagen Passenger Cars India inaugurated two new customer touchpoints in Uttar Pradesh, further bolstering its presence in the state as part of the Brand’s wider push to make its products and services more accessible to Indian customers.
The two new dealerships are located in Prayagraj and Meerut. Their inauguration follows the recent opening of two other touchpoints in Uttar Pradesh, growing the Brand’s presence in the state to 14 sales and nine service facilities.
Mr. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said,

Our forward-looking approach acknowledges this shift and aims to leverage the growth potential in these demand clusters, ensuring our portfolio of safe, fun-to-drive, German-engineered products and world-class services are accessible to a wider customer base across the country, including Meerut and Prayagraj.”
The Prayagraj touchpoint is headed by Mr. Sunil Mishra, Dealer Partner, G.S.R. Automobiles Private Limited and staffed by a team of 30 sales and service executives. It features a three-car display, showcasing the 5-star GNCAP-rated Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun as well as the Brand’s globally-popular flagship SUVW, the Volkswagen Tiguan. It is also equipped to cater to customers’ service and spares requirements via a separate workshop, housing eight service bays.
The Meerut outlet, headed by Mr. Navneet Agarwal, Dealer Partner, Maa Sheetla Autowheels Private Limited, functions as a sales-only city store with a four-car
display. It is staffed by a team of 12 customer and service executives and despite being a sales-only dealership, is equipped to offer the Brand’s Express Service, Volkswagen Assistance and Mobile Support Unit offerings to customers via the Dealer Partner’s main facility in Moradabad.
