Hero Maestro Edge – The name for Hero Dash
Earlier in this week, we reported that Honda Dash Scooter would be launched before October 15. While the news which we reported is true, there is a change in the name of the supposed to be “Dash” scooter. The Maestro Edge is the new name for the Hero Dash scooter which was first revealed in the year 2014 in Indian Auto Expo. The Hero Dash / Maestro Edge scooter was first spotted testing on multiple locations on different occasions. Shifting-Gears autoportal reported that Maestro Edge has now reached dealerships hinting that the launch of scooter is very near.
Hero MotoCorp has also confirmed that 2 new scooters would be launched during the festive season; the other scooter from Hero would be the Duet which have started arriving at dealerships as well.
Hero Maestro Edge Specifications / Hero Dash Specifications
The all new Maestro Edge could be powered by 111cc, 4-stroke, force-air-cooled, single-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 8.5 BHP and would be mated to a CVT gearbox.
