Mahindra NuvoSport variants: N4, N4+, N6, N8; AMT available

Mahindra’s facelifted Quanto SUV which is now rebranded as Nuvosport will be launching in India on April 4th 2016. Looking at the NuoSport’s revealed images one could make out that Mahindra has completely restyled the compact SUV’s front fascia and has also revised the interiors.

Mahindra NuvoSport when launched is going to be offered in 6 different variants namely: N4, N4+, N6, N6 AMT, N8 and N8 AMT.

Mahindra NuvoSport Engine and Specifications

Under the hood, NuvoSport is powered by a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder mHawk diesel engine which offers 2 drive modes – Power and Economy – whose outputs vary accordingly. NuvoSport when driven on Power mode, the engine can develop 100bhp of power and 24.47kgm of torque whereas when NuvoSport is driven in Economy mode, the engine can deliver a power of 72bhp and 18.35kgm of torque. Mahindra NuvoSport’s engine is going to be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and the car will be also getting the AMT gearbox.

Last week, Mahindra had released official images of Nuvosport which gave details on new bonnet, grille, headlamps and front bumper. The styling of NuvoSport at the rear will be identical to that of outgoing Mahidnra Quanto while the top-spec model sits on new design 16-inch alloy wheels. Mahindra has also announced that the Nuvosport is based on an all-new platform similar to that of Scorpio.

The upcoming NuvoSport is going to be a seven-seater and also gets 2 jump seats in the rear. The interior images of NuvoSport reveals the revised dashboard, steering and leather upholstery on the top-spec model. The top-spec NuvoSport model will be also getting features like touchscreen infotainment system, 8-way adjustable front seat as well as cruise control.
