Bajaj had launched the Bajaj V15 9 months ago which was made taking up metal from the broken down aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant. Only some part of the fuel tank of V15 was made using the metal from INS Vikrant and not the whole bike itself. Bajaj has now launched the younger sibling of the V15, the V12. Just like its elder brother, the V12 will still have a part of the fuel tank made with the metal from the iconic aircraft carrier.

Bajaj V12 will sport the engine as seen on the Bajaj Discover, 124.6cc single cylinder DTS-i engine making 10 bhp power and 10.8Nm of torque. This engine will come mated to a 5-speed transmission and the power figures might come changed on the V12. With over 2 lakh units sold within the first 9 months after the launch of the V15, Bajaj gets the V12 into the market hoping for a similar response.
Bajaj has taken up the metal from the aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant to make up a section of the fuel tank in order to keep the iconic aircraft carrier alive in Indian hearts. This explains the reason for such high demand of the V15. The V12 will compete against the Honda shine, Yamaha Saluto and Hero Glamour. Bajaj V15 is priced at INR 62,132 (ex showroom Delhi) and the V12 will be priced 6,000 less at INR 56,200 (ex showroom Delhi)
