Kia India has unveiled the electric avatar of Syros – the Syros EV. The Syros EV is going to be the second mass-market electric vehicle, and has opened pre-bookings for Rs 25,000 through the Kia India website (kia.com) and dealerships across India.
The all new Kia Syros EV gets ARAI-certified range of 526 kms with an ownership package built to remove the most common barriers to EV adoption — a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty, an Assured Buyback programme and flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) financing.

Complementing this is segment-best DC fast charging that takes the battery from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes with a 100 kW charger and a Battery Conditioning feature that optimizes battery temperature for faster DC charging — simplifying everyday charging. The Syros EV also features a 10.8 kW onboard AC charging capacity, backed by the K-Charge ecosystem’s Integrated Route Planner and flexible charging controls.
Built on Kia’s reinforced K1 platform, the Syros EV delivers a best-in-segment power output of 171 PS from its advanced Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery, accelerating from 0–100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds with the 51.4 kWh pack. The IP67-certified battery with a liquid-cooled thermal management system is engineered for diverse Indian weather conditions.
