The Baleno car from Maruti Suzuki is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine which is capable of churning out a maximum power of 84bhp and a peak torque of 115Nm which is then mated to a 5-speed manual as well as CVT transmission gearbox. The company claims Maruti Baleno Petrol could deliver a fuel efficiency of 21.4 kmpl. Baleno is also available in the diesel variant: the 1.3-litre DDIs engine delivers a maximum power of 74bhp and torque of 190Nm – the engine is mated to five-speed manual transmission and the company claims fuel efficiency of 27.39 Kmpl.
Some of the premium features which the Maruti Baleno gets is ABS ( Anti-lock braking System), EBD(Electronic Braking Distribution) plus dual safety airbags as a standard across all its variants. Depending on variants, Maruti Baleno would be getting keyless push start/stop button, reverse camera, voice recognition system, projector lamps, LED DRLs as well as follow-me lights. The top-notch / premium part of Maruti Baleno is the seven-inch infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay system plus a 4.2-inch TFT speedo display. The features of the Baleno car looks pretty promising.
